Not so very gloomy is this the intro to the unique coversalbum called "Angelis Deamonae - Wiccan Aftermath". Surprisingly "positive" in its delivery and general feel this song hails from a Playstation RPG (Role playing game) with the same name. Being a true addict of these japanese games and this kind of artform it was more than natural that the entire album became stained by this influence. Chrono Cross in Elvira Madigan form is more heavy and has more guitars than the original, but it manages to stay true to the soundtracks arrangements. I truly recomend checking out this game or at least watch the opening to it - for it is truly one of the best gameopenings I have ever seen.

Anyway, the track was an obvious contender to make the album from day one, and it had a given place as an intro as well. Many times I toss songs from here to there within the album to see how the albumstructure feels. But this had a fixed place from day one. It builds up perfectly for the second song.
