Drakens Tårar is a track that came to life very much on the keyboards. - Which is quite understandable if one takes into consideration its' construction and melodiscism. Being sort of a starting point for the album "BlackArts" and a "spark" of inspiration it was only natural to use it as an introduction for the album as an appetite teaser for things yet to come. Quite interesting is that this is the first song ever that I learned to use "grinding" drums. I was used to not really care much for drums used that way but as both Elvira Madigan and my own music-taste developed (during these studio-sessions), I suddenly found it ever more fitting - or perhaps even necessary - to use grind. This is also what I'd like to call a completely new song. No old riffs or melodies were woven into the track, that would of course be rather hard since it only features one main melody.
