Recorded shortly after "BlackArts" was finished this song wasn't even thought of as a candidate for the upcoming album. It was done merely as therapy to work on different guitarsounds and techniques. The original track was highly blues influenced and only contained three or four different recorded channels. After a major rearrangement and after adding several new layers it did however make it onto the album in order to continue the tradition of having a not-so-much-metal song end the album (as was the case for "BlackArts" where "Venus" is the outro). The song contains several elements and includes an outro improvised over keyboards. Even though it is not my absolute favourite on the CD it didn't feel right to exclude it and having "Dark..." as the last song was not an option. Total running time: 4:29
