Right after the instrumental pause of "At Zanarkand" comes yet another instrumental interlude. A little more dark yet at the same time not less beautiful is this symphonic piece hailing from the film with the same title as well as the same emotional trauma. "Jacob's Ladder" is one of my all time favourite movies and what luck I have as it also features such a wonderful piece of instrumental madness! How this track melts into both its predecessor and successor is a nice bonus!
