First, this is a trilogy (and the third part of it) so be sure to at least read the details of "The Leader" first to get a comprehensable view. To read the details of "The Vision" might be a good idea as well.
Well, the end of the world is now over and those few who were either faithful or just lucky are left alone. This beautiful track starts much as the entire trilogy does with a piano ballad (that's just awesome by the way!) but then evolves into a heavier finale with yet another wonderful guitarsolo here featured in it's original version - so not much interpretation regarding that. This trilogy does contain more "sung" vocals than anything previously released under the name Elvira Madigan and even though there is certainly not much "blackness" about it the songs turned out extremely good. I truly feel that I more or less open and close the album with the very best of what it has to offer. It certainly feels like a rather large accomplishment having finally done what I wanted for such a long time (that is: record this trilogy in metal interpretaion). Aaargh! Finally!.
